With all that rain we have been getting Bells Rapids is at the highest water level we have ever seen!
This is a lovely area to visit at all times of the year. Generally the water level is quite low and you can walk out over the rocks, but February’s high rain fall meant the rapids were full and flowing fast. The water level was right up to the wooden bridge that crosses the rapids and was really spectacular to watch.
Bells Rapids can be found at the end of Cathedral Avenue, Brigadoon, in the Swan Valley.
Spent a lovely evening on the swan river at Charles Court Reserve. Picnic dinner followed by a spot of night fishing, then on the way back to the car this little beauty swam over to say hi! …gotta love Perth!
